Losing to Georgia

Not a shocker.

When I saw that Georgia was one of the first 4 out, I knew the fix was in to get them that big win to get them into the tourney. SEC has two goals every basketball season: To get as many teams in the NCAA as possible, and get Kentucky a #1 seed. Well, UK isn't good enough this year for that seeding, no matter how much help they get, but Florida has always been the SEC's favorite whipping boy when somebody else is on the bubble and needs a win. And here we are.

Hoping the boys can win the 5 on 8 matchup anyway.

Agreed. However that sure looked like a travel when the UGA player jumped and landed with the ball near half court (and I’m not referring to the no call back court inadvertent whistle against UF that was the correct call).

No question dawgs benefited in the first 30 minutes from the calls. But that tends to happen at home. Gators need to beat AM, Beat Ole Miss and that should be enough to get us at least a 2 seed. Losing on the road to Bama won't hurt us.

We'll have to see what teams in the tourney need a win. They always seem to get just enough, particularly if they are on our side of the bracket.

The reason I even know Pat Adams name is because of Kentucky fans, this game had bubble madness victory written all over it for weeks the way UGA has kept losing and building to this one moment.. Why would they choose the big game "fixer upper" officials for such a medial mid week SEC game like this? Oh... Especially the way the 2nd half started, we IMMEDIATELY had 5 "fouls" called on us to keep the tone set.. Look we all watch basketball and see the officials always help the team that is behind, we know better than anyone because even when we're beating teams brains in by 30 at home we watch the other team get the whistle just because and shoot 25 free throws..

Florida gets the f*** you treatment in every game, just use your eyes.. The reality is Florida is just so good this year they keep overcoming it, you can blame it on free throws but we still scored 83 ****ing points that's more than enough for this team to beat anyone as we literally average giving up 66 a game.. It keeps showing how hard It is to kill this team, if a manufactured 39-13 lead still found UF with a lead with a minute left.. Good luck, because this team is used to being f'ed by the officials, it's just another day to them.. Look no further than that disgrace of a NCAA Tournament game by yacht boy whistling us for a foul every possession the 2nd half of the Colorado game then the final nail with the push off on the winning basket for them.. The only Florida teams that ever win anything in any sport are always just so good they simply overcome all the bullshit, they were doing this same thing to even our back to back team in 07 at the end of the SEC season that year where we got whacked on the road at UT, Vandy and even LSU that year, then we started beating everyone so badly again from the Kentucky and SEC tournament on there was nothing anyone could do to get in that teams way..

Every single bubble team since Saturday that's played at home against a ranked team has not only covered, they've won outright. Four of them now being SEC teams.. It happens every single year

Several times Haugh made clean blocks only to be whistled for the foul. Pat Adams was in panic mode when we actually overcame the 26 point deficit.
