Be assured sir, that unlike you I have not devoted my life to supporting the Dem. party. I got involved in this Forum because of all the crap the Rep. kept throwing out to get Biden thrown out of the White House after he was elected by a few million votes. As far as I and millions of others are concerned this is over.

House Democrats added $2000 check to the bill, left the pork and foreign aid in.
House Republicans blocked the bill. If they had stripped the pork and foreign aid out and just made it for $2000 checks as Trump demanded, the bill would have passed.

I will ask a question that no sheep here will ask: If Pelosi and house Dems can slip a $2000 check into this version of the bill, why didn't they do it to begin with?
Because they felt $2000 would be rejected based on the repeated rejections of lower amounts. Now that Trump is pushing for it, are they opposed to it?
Don’t get me wrong, I hold Pelosi partly responsible for the difficult negotiations because of her insistence on including bailouts for cities and various other Democrat agenda items that were unnecessary.
I wish everyone would just agree to a check amount and save the pork barrel stuff for a time when millions of people aren’t facing eviction from their homes.
Me too. But the process started in the House. The pork and foreign aid is there cause they put it in. Claiming it being there is the fault of the Senate is completely dishonest.
