Scenarios:
1. We win, no matter how or score?
Mullen prepares for Florida State.

2. We lose a close game?
The Gator Nation is pissed but, I see
Mullen keeping his job.

3. Another South Carolina game?
Tough call for Strickland. I’d can him
when the plane lands ( Who was it who
got fired at the airport once? ) but, I
think it would happen later that day.

4. F.S.U. Game?
A. We win? Mullen gets his job for 2022.
B. We lose? If it’s 2 in a row, no matter
the scores? He’s gone!
C. We lose a close one after winning last week? Tough call. We lose badly? Don’t let the door hit you as you’re canned.

This team has quit in many regards and that performance against Samford was an outright embarrassment for Mullen. No other way to look at it.

If I were advising Dan, I’d tell him to coach both games like he’s coaching for his job. Agree with curmudgeon it’s not even the results, but this team has to come out and show some effort and some fight. We haven’t seen it since the UK game basically ended our season. That to me, along with our atrocious recruiting, are my biggest concerns.
