I know this is not earth shattering news, but it almost makes me not want to watch us play uk in basketball. The discrepancy in officiating is unbelievable. Even Billy mentioned the 23 - 5 free throw differential as pivotal in the outcome of the game. Obviously when you get to go to the line 3-5 times more than the other team you have a huge advantage. It also has an impact on how aggressive you play defense. We become tentative and they become aggressive.

A picture in the Tampa Bay Times shows uk's guard mugging Chioza and there is no foul. That happened throughout the game with almost no calls.

Staff - anyway you can pull the stats to see how many free throws each team in the SEC shot throughout the season? This would either support or diminish my accusation. I know this is not new. The blue bloods have always gotten the calls which is one of the things I like least about college hoops, but it would be interesting if they were called out more often.
