Maybe it's finally time for a thorough house cleaning by making some examples out of the privileged that still believe that the rules and/or laws don't pertain to the 'entitled athletes' on the football team???

This has very little to do with the cause (weed) and everything to do with the lack of respect and choices.

If you just want to be another irresponsible college kid and smoke weed, then fine. All you need to do is give up your 'free-ride' ship, and then you can go your own way in the world.
If your given WORD ain't worth spit,,, then neither are you...

As an alternative to immediately dismissing them from the team, how about a 6 game suspension for both of them? With a guarantee than the next time they step out of line,,, they are gone, with no further saving throws.

Hard for me to let the pot citations bother me too much but I wish they would use more sense with how things like that get handled now. I can't believe that guy called the cops instead of just knocking on the door if he had a problem with it.

Fev, blaming the resident assistant for doing his job, or the campus police for doing their's, is so far off base on recognizing the ROOT PROBLEM of the situation that it amazes me.

How about those two 'entitled athletes' just learning to keep their WORD and honoring their SIGNED CONTRACTS, or is that beyond the limited abilities of just a small percentage of those that come to UF? The vast majority of those that are on ship here don't seem to have a problem in doing so....

right, it's only UF players that feel entitled, not the numerous bama players that fall asleep hammered before they kill folks at the wheel, then will be leading the team out for the first game.. or the ohio state players that do "so much drugs lol"... those teams and players are protected, regardless of what anyone thinks... I promise you, if UF doesn't start protecting their recruits from getting in trouble every time they take a puff or a sip of anything.. They will not come and go to those schools instead and get away with murder..

sounds awful right? welcome to the real world of being a coach, and keeping your paycheck. The world sucks, and if you wanna be employed as a coach, doing it like croom will get you booted quickly. There is no such thing as the honest way, these kids will always be doing shit, and smoking weed is the least of anyones worries.

Didn't Miller also get popped for the fraud thing? I agree on the one hand the pot itself isn't that big a deal, but for these two...SMH. And a week away from the damn season at that. Robinson should be going to church 5X a week and helping old ladies cross the street considering he barely got here and plenty of people had to stick their neck out for him. Dumbasses.

Maybe I just can't relate because I didn't have half their talent and didn't take playing for granted but I barely left my dorms leading up to the season. All that work in the spring and summer and I get a few weeks away? I'm not letting anything mess with that. The rest of the time by all means Wednesday to Saturday I was in the club. These dudes are toking up a week before the season AND you have another round of random tests right before the season starts. You almost have to laugh it's so dumb.
