Rumor is Grassley has proof that this is a setup in multiple forms, so I doubt she shows.

At some point, someone has to have their Clarence Thomas moment and point out for us what the Democrats are doing to this country. It's reaching the point where Republicans are being attacked in public and accused of crimes simply for being Republicans. You NEVER see Republicans acting like Democrats do. Because these are not good people and they need to be called out as such.

To clarify earlier post, the official process is for the nominee to get a vote in the Sen Judicary committee (happens tomorrow). then goes to the Senate floor for all of Senate to vote on. That will happen Saturday.

TownHall.com reporting that Murkowski, Collins, Flake and D Joe Manchen will all vote for Kavanaugh. I think that would get him to 52 votes.

If Kavanaugh gets in, it effectively splits the court 4-4-1. Everyone is saying Conservatives will have a 5-4 advantage, but Roberts is a moderate.

The additional 'problem' is, Conservative judges rule based on the law. Liberal judges rule based on what they want the law TO BE. This has always been the case, and always will be. It means that liberal judges are always ruling from a point of political bias. Stephen Breyer was once asked what the 2nd Amendment meant to him, and he replied "Well it doesn't mean you can have a gun on your nightstand". That's PRECISELY what it means, but liberals don't rule on the constitution as it is written, they rule on what they WANT the law to be.

Getting moderate Kennedy off the court and replacing with fundamentalist Kavanaugh is a huge positive for the court. Personally, I wanted Amy Coney Barrett, but she will get RBG's slot next.

Trump has done so much for the economy, but I think his biggest legacy will be what he has done to restore the Rule of Law to the land. This is what we have desperately needed after decades of being beaten down by the Clintons, Obamas and Bushes. He's rebuilding the SC, and by 2024 we could conceivably have an entirely conservative court ("No way that happens!" Remember....those of us who have done their homework....). He's rebuilding the military, our police forces.

Next step is to rebuild our society. This is where Jeff Sessions is going to be the hero. There's the 52,000 sealed documents that he and Huber have been working on. There's the dramatic reduction in illegal border crossings. There's the targeting of MS-13.

All of this is coordinated. We are about to get our country and our VALUES back.

Donald J Trump will go down as the greatest president in the history of this great country. The next few years are going to be the best of our lives.
