Lol, Norvell is like the most straight edge dude you will ever meet. He reminds you of one of those strict life long martial arts guys. He rarely drinks caffeine. Runs and works out religiously. Strict about what he eats. Spends nearly every off minute with his family.

He wouldn't be the fun to hang out with a the local pub because he'd be drinking water and eat one saltine....then go run two laps around the parking lot. But despite that he would be one damn good coach for a program that will allow him to build his roster.

He's been "available" for awhile, T. Boone holds a lot of sway in that program. He was a candidate for Nebraska 3 years ago but our infinitely wise AD at the time thought Riley was just what we needed. Don't like Gundy's personality, but he can coach. Wouldn't surprise me to see his name pop up for the F$U position it it opens up.

I’ve been saying this for a while. It seems as if it’s become a much bigger deal in modern times. I guess as strength, conditioning and nutrition programs have improved fewer pudgy coaches have been successful. I guess the hypocrisy is too much for players these days.

Houston Nutt. I'm serious. It's a warm body with SEC experience and a division title to his credit. 2.1 million and you have a coach.

On a side note, Norvell's name at least has popped up under every SEC opening...He is on the list for MS State and Arkansas...don't understand why Blake Anderson from Arkansas State hasn't been named a candidate. He cut his teeth at the same place Freeze, Harsin, and Malzhan did. All three of those guys have shown results on the field.
