Correct. Around 2011 or so, dems decided to abandon 'Middle America', and embrace all minorities and frame them as victims that the Dems will save.

That's when they did a flip-flop on securing the border. YouTube has many videos of obama, chuck and nancy and other major dems singing the praises of a strong Southern border.

Wont find any of these videos from obama's 2nd term, though.

Now that is an absolutely true statement. Unfortunately the secular liberal progressive movement doesn’t see it that way.

In their view, only the government can solve our problems, and anything that increases government involvement in everyday life is a good thing.

We have allowed the government to become our brother’s keeper. Religious motivations to improve public life are automatically viewed as suspicious. After all, Christians are intolerant bigots, isn’t that right?

Can you complete that sentence? Who said it? He wasn't claiming that we worked for the government and neither am I. But having an ever growing percentage of the population suckling on the government teat certainly isn't in our national interests or our individual interests.

I highly recommend everyone to read “The Gulag Archipelago” by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn if they haven’t yet done so. One of his quotes from the book: “The line separating good and evil runs through the heart of every human being.”

Read it. Great book.
