Just a gentle reminder

Actually son, cemeteries are full of idiots that took the vaccines. And I bet you have no regrets for misleading people that caused these deaths.
Vaccines were effective in reducing hospitalizations and death but it turns out not necessary for those but the immunocompromised and elderly.

I was an advocate for vaccines and now will be very unlikely to get a booster (unless my health degrades).

Many misrepresentations were made in effectiveness.

Masking was not effective at a population level. (Source: Lancet)

Lockdowns were a significant failure.

We spent trillions upon trillions for little.

And one of the reasons I got a vaccine was that I was pretty sure that the virus was man made and leaked from the Wuhan institute of Virology.

It’s all fun and games until one of your crew gets mocked, isn’t it. Gee, a 90 year old suffers heart failure four months after getting a vaccine. That must be the reason. My 85 year old mom died the day after eating a chicken salad sandwich. That must be the cause according to you nut cases.

I guarantee the good doctor has saved more lives than the self admitted internet troll he was mocking. Calm down, Sally.
I’m sure he has. He’s clearly the expert citing the only possible cause of heart failure are fatty foods.

Didn’t consider genetics, family history or general activity level. Or sometimes just crap luck. Arterial buildups can happen for no obvious reason.

No, he’d rather make a tasteless statement devoid of any well-rounded medical considerations about someone’s dad dying to make a point because they don’t agree with his politics.

He can be your doctor but I’m damn glad he isn’t mine. You rub elbows and defend some crap people.

I mean, you spent all morning complaining about the complainers, then when asked to name just three of them, it's just me?

LOL

Ok I have a proposition for you:

As I said earlier, I suspect almost all the complaining is actually coming from @BSC911 and @RayGravesGhost. So you have skin in the game, we'll add you to the group.

I asked you to give me the 3 posters who you think are complaining the most. You could only name me. So to make things fair, I'll add my buddies @RussellCasse and @Capt Ron 1.

So we have:

Group A - @BSC911 @RayGravesGhost @GatorTheo

Group B - @RussellCasse @Capt Ron 1 @GhostOfMatchesMalone

Here's the proposition (assuming everyone, especially Jason, is willing to go along): Have Jason total up the number of times someone from Group A has emailed him complaining about the board over the last month, and then do the same thing for the posters in Group B.

Whichever group has the higher number, that group gets a one month ban from the board. Since Ray is permabanned, his will continue. The best thing about this is the enforcement of the ban comes from the BO, so our friend bsc can't welch on this one if he loses.

@GatorTheo you are on record saying the complaining is coming from the right, so here's your chance to back up your claims. You in?
I give permission to share how many times I ever reported someone. I do not ever remember doing so, but have been following Jason since the Tebow to UF days.

1. I didn't read the whole thing but I'm not agreeing to any stupid ban bet. I am FAR beyond my teenaged years.

2. Admin has my permission to reveal my report totals.

3 What I am saying, and it should be obvious to everyone, the vast majority, if not all of the people tattling on Ray are from the right. Surely you're not questioning that, right?
Based on what information? Would this hold up in court? You know who it is? NO..you do not. Nor do I...and I care a little less than ZERO about it. GROW a pair, son.

Theo is only here to argue and shit-disturb, and panics when he thinks anyone is threatening his ability to do either. That's why he refused to take our bet, that's why he cries every time a fellow shit-disturber gets banned.

Talk about projection!

Theo’s been posting here for over 20 years.

You are a long-time itinerant troll who keeps switching boards to escape the Ban Hammer.

no we lost because your boy joey is killing this country
The US avg. IQ is a dismal 97.7, not low enough for an all time record 81 million of us to vote for Brandon.

We have $400 million from Mark Zuckerberg stuffed drop boxes and 2000 Mules to thank for the nightmare in which we find ourselves. We have record credit card debt and delinquencies thanks to Brandon's inflationary tidal wave. Most consumers suffer mightily under Bidenomics.

Where NavigatorII fails all of us? Getting through to the board's slow is completely beyond his reach. It seems the board's slow takes no note of Brandon's dismal apptoval even among the most devoted MSM pollsters.

The Gator happens to be an expert in that field. I'm sure he knows a lot more about it than your GP, or Twitter buddies. And certainly more than you and the car Salesman who likes to spout off..

@RussellCasse Spreadsheet please? You've got so much dirt on the "World's Least Interesting Man" I'll defer to you on all of the lies perpetrated by Cuckie. 😂

Is it safe to assume @BSC911 isn't willing to accept my bet? Jason would control the ban so he couldn't welch out of this one.

So I guess that's my answer.

Theo's been shit-posting on the same board for over 20 years?

He sounds like a winner.

You've been watching cartoons for the same amount of time, yes?

I don’t know if Theo is a “winner,” but when it comes to s***-posting, you are Secretariat.

Also, are you really this out-of-touch? You’ve never seen Rick and Morty? It’s not the 1970s anymore. Many recent cartoons are well-written and intelligent.

Don't worry, @BSC911 doesn't honor bets, so you would have never been involved. As @BillCutting4585 found out.
One thing you can be assured of, when Ghost accuses someone of something, you know it’s because he is just projecting.

Everyone saw him Welch on a permaban bet, and his crying post to Fresno when he said he was leaving (only to back out a week later).

I swear it was the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen. I wish Fresno hadn’t deleted it.

Honest question...did you ever believe them?
Good question and I will give you an honest answer on what I believed or did not at the time. Feel free to look back and if I am inconsistent with what I posted prior, I will take account for that.

#1 - I always believed, and still do, that Vaccines reduce hospitalizations and death. I think that has been proven. Red states had far higher unnecessary deaths - and lower vaccination rates.
#2 - I believed in masking, but then could not believe that with cloth masks and inconsistent use, that it would be effective at a population level - I was right. I stopped wearing masks back in 2022 and will only wear one if I am in a highly infectious ICU or doing work with paints or cleaning out my parent's barn (raccoon excrement can be toxic). Cloth masks are pure theater.
#3 - I was told, and believed that vaccines could prevent and in turn reduce the spread of covid - that was grossly inaccurate. This was also critical because it was based on this premise that had vaccine mandates
#4 - I was, and perhaps my memory is biased here, always unsure on vaccine mandates.
#5 - Natural immunity was broadly downplayed. I think I always believed in it, but was personally concerned of just "leaving to chance" exposure to Covid. Had we studied and supported it more, we would have saved BILLIONS in unnecessary shots taken.
#6 - I believed in boosters and took two of them. Was that necessary or effective? In retrospect - a hard no. I will get my flu shot but not a vaccine booster. Most of my moderate and left leaning friends are identical. I am in very good physical and respiratory health (I run 25 miles/week). A vaccine will not prevent covid (see #3) and if I have Covid, I am not going to the hospital anyways. So, get Covid and will have very strong natural immunity (strong than the vaccine per Cleveland Clinic).
#7 - I always believed that it came from a lab. It was why I was eager to get a Vaccine. This was man-made through gain of function research. Back to #5, I was not going to leave it to chance.
#8 - I always thought that lockdowns were a significant mistake once we had a handle on ICU capacity. I was proven right.
#9 - School lockdowns were a disaster and would only hurt black and brown communities. Per #8, I believe I was very consistent on that. I was proven precisely right.
#10 - Child vaccines for anyone else than those who were immunocompromised was completely unnecessary and a profound waste of money. Again, proven right.

Finally, I have worked either remotely or hybrid since 2020. That has been a wonderful gift. It has saved me thousands upon thousands of dollars, saved CO2 emissions, has allowed me so much time with my daughters, my wife and my two goldens. It has transformed work - for the FAR better.

So, that is hopefully, a pretty honest assessment of my thoughts, what I got wrong, what I got right, and then looking forward - I will apply FAR more skepticism to establishment science. I think everyone, even those who went to elite universities and work on the coasts (they are my fellow Managing Directors and friends) will say the exact same - if perhaps only in private.

#3 - I was told, and believed that vaccines could prevent and in turn reduce the spread of covid - that was grossly inaccurate. This was also critical because it was based on this premise that had vaccine mandates

I actually believed this one as well, briefly.

I never believed that they were safe. I thought they might be but I also believed that "they" had no idea for sure if they were.

When they started saying that vaccine immunity was better than natural immunity, that's when I was certain that the BS was flowing. And as you mentioned, the Cleveland Clinic proved the opposite was actually true. People still argue otherwise which is amazing.

I will prove your theory wrong with one comparison. NY and Florida. Florida ecen has a much older population. All respect meant, because even though I disagree with you on many things, I love to read your well thought out posts. And I am not ANTI vaccine. I am for ME and my family...I am anti MANDATED vaccines...which is 100% on lefties. I am 100% AGAINST keeping schools closed...again, 100% on lefties.

Great response.

First off, I hope that you (and others) see that when questions are fairly asked and presented, I seek to provide fair answer and not reflexively move into ideological corners. This is the heart of a democracy - open and fair discussion.

It means we need to be honest when we get things wrong. I have experienced a lot, have a relatively high IQ, but I am FAR from infallible.

On safety (one item I did not touch on), I see them as being very safe (on the whole), but if anything, not being immunologically accretive unless you were immunocompromised.

First off - thank you. I appreciate your kind words and our ability to share ideas.

Working backwards, I too am anti-vaccine mandates which is 100% driven from the left. Could not agree more on closing schools. Randi W. is exactly what Malcolm-X warned about with "liberals".

The Florida comparison is actually why DeSantis was so highly regarded for this election cycle. He managed Covid-19 beautifully. He targeted the at-risk populations (especially elderly), worked exceptionally hard to get Vaccines and Remdesvir, equitably distributed and had superior results.

The states to look at are Alabama, Mississippi and other "SEC states". They did poorly on vaccine use and had excess deaths. The data there is pretty clear.

I don't believe that we know this yet. I don't believe that we could know this yet.

Given the atmosphere around why they were created and the purposeful lies by people who knew better (vaccine immunity better than natural immunity), I have serious concerns about their safety.

Obviously there is still a lot of unknowns about the vaccine...but I'm also concerned about the knowns. If doctors and scientists would lie about one thing, why would we assume that they are being truthful about everything else?

Long term safety - you are right, there is no way to know.
Your concerns are more founded by the day. It is why, at this point, I will not be taking additional booster shots.
