How do you lose to Miss St on your home field and then turn around and beat Bama a week later? With a backup QB who has been really bad until tonight.

Jimbo has a lot of highly rated recruits, but his team is very young. 2 true freshmen on the O-line. Bama isn't as good as they have been of late, but still loaded with talent. Aggies played their hearts out tonight and showed a lot of resilience after falling behind by 7 late. Great win for TAM. And I think the Gators play them next year.
This is why I laugh at all the experts that think they know a team after a couple of games. I’m always hesitant to talk too much trash because if games like this. One never knows. We could easily lose to UK, UF,or UT.

Notre Dame got their asses kicked by Clemson in a rematch yet still made the CFP. Bama won't drop by much. Iowa is garbage.

That's not the point. At this point in the season, I think Kentucky would steamroll through the Big Ten. They play similar football, defense, ball control, etc.

Reading our conversations from the beginning of the yr, we were both right a ton lol you were dead on with Miami and UNC and I was right about LSU (do you think Ed survives today without getting fired?) and A and M being the biggest threat to Bama. It has to be the big ten. The ACC is full of avg teams, the Pac 12 might be better than us this yr, we have more depth but they have Oregon. The big 12 is rotten.
My own opinion on that is he had to go 8-4 to survive so he is now a dead man walking. Looking at that schedule LSU might do something similar to what we did in 2017. Crazy how bad KY was pounding that team physically. They either have one last game in them for the coach or they continue getting pounded down in this 3 game stretch coming up. I wish we would have caught them at home and I doubt we would have to worry about them having one last fight in them.
The saddest part is UF always brings out the best in LSU, no matter how bad they are. This has been going on since Spurrier left.
Yep it is setting up just like last year. LSU will call a players only meeting this week and watch them end up playing the best game of the season against us this weekend. LSU doesn’t suck because of lack of talent. They suck because of bad coaching. Every once in awhile the talent can overcome the bad coaching.
Yes it’s hard to imagine a scenario where Orgeron doesn’t get fired at some point. I would think 8-4 may save his job but to get there they have to win 5 of their next 6. That isn’t happening by looking at their remaining schedule. The concern is LSU may actually get a real coach to go with their talent.

Dan showed teams the blueprint to beat Bama. It is awesome that they lost last night; however, this UGA thing is definitely starting to make sadgator nervous…it just feels like we are headed toward something not good…

Dawg D is really really good. Their offense not so much, but they don't need a good offense when you have a D that sets you up like theirs does.
I was surprised how bad they looked against KY as the LSU D linemen were just standing up too straight letting themselves get bullied on many plays. With us playing a run heavy style it may make it tougher for them to man up and win the one big game this time.
Being honest. UF will have to play a mistake free out of their mind game to beat y'all.

If LSU beats us, the season falls apart, IMO. We'll lose to Georgia to drop to 4-4, then have road games at Missouri and South Carolina, both teams that aren't very good but could still beat us on their home field. We finish the season against an FSU team that, even though they are terrible, have continued to play hard for Norvell. That QB, Travis, can run and seems to have found his game a little. Last night they easily beat up on a North Carolina team that was supposed to be a Top 15 team with a QB rated by the NFL guys as a first round pick. And in case nobody has noticed, right now Norvell is outrecruiting Dan Mullen for the 2022 class. Right now our class is ranked 15th nationally, FSU's 10th. That's pretty pathetic considering the state of FSU's program. I know most of ya'll will dismiss my comments, but if nothing else you must agree there is reason for serious concern with the state of the Florida football program. I just see this LSU game as very critical and if we want to salvage a respectable season it's a must win.
I agree an LSU loss could lead to an 8-4 season most likely but you have a 2017 collapse type scenario playing out there. Possible I guess but I would say not likely.
I sure hope not, but time will tell. This team seems very shaky to me.

It was Jimbo’s second year. FSU lost their first three games against P5 opponents (I guess it was P6 back then). Then they almost won out the rest of the season if not for a last minute missed field goal against Virginia and ended up 9-4.
That was the year FSU and UF had the Battle of the Punters in the Swamp due to neither team having a functioning offense.
Edit: That was also the last year Mark Stoops was FSU’s DC.

Don't even remember that game. What I most remember about 2011 was how LSU and Bama just lined up and ran the ball for 5 yards a pop even with us stacking the box and Brantley's struggles at QB.
You really think FSU has a chance to hang with us with how they are playing now? I haven't watched them during these couple of wins.
