McElwain pretty much dodged questions about when he's naming a QB yesterday but he had an interesting response on how short of a leash he has on his QBs normally.
"I'm kind of one of those that kind of probably operates a little bit by gut instinct. I don't think we've ever been really short with the leash. We may have said put in prescribed playing time, you know what I'm getting at, going into the game like somebody's going to take the second and four series, somebody's taking the first and third series, whatever. And we've held to that. So I don't know. If they're throwing it to the other team a bunch, the leash probably isn't very long. It's probably the best way to say it."
