Feel bad for the kid. Hopefully he can get his degree and find a career path that will make him happy.

You obviously never were an athlete with aspirations like these young men have. You obviously never had a dream or loved anything that much.
I’m the least compassionate person here, but as someone who walked in their shoes and worked as hard as they have it sickens me to hear this. To be that close and have it ripped away is something that he’ll never fully get over. It will haunt him till the day he dies.
Not to mention he’s an 18 year old kid that’s been diagnosed with a heart condition.

I had my reservations about he kid, but this is awful. His dream is over and he probably has that dream because being a talented athlete is what he’s always had.
And now at 18, he’s going to have to reinvent himself.

So an 18 year old kid who likely has nothing other than his football skill set to lean on now has that taken away. UF loses a WR with a true NFL skill set. Yeah, sure seems like a reason to celebrate.

Not sure how Ohio St dicked him? It took everything we could do to get him cleared. The way Urban recruits I can’t imagine saving a spot for a kid that was at best 50/50 on getting cleared
Wasn’t he cited at an OSU player’s place, where he was the only one cited and no one else got in trouble? I mean, I’m guessing he didn’t buy weed on his own on a recruiting trip. He had major bad blood with Ohio State.
Maybe just maybe he will not turn away completely and we may get to see him on Fridays or Saturdays as an assistant somewhere… If you can’t live your dream that doesn’t mean you have to be out of it completely…Hopefully Dan Da Man will bring him in as a student assistant and show him a different side of the game…
