How does human infrastructure relate to infrastructure? Also, very cute slide by the Dems to get 600 billion in bipartisan support in order to by pass the filibuster for… wait for it… 3.5 trillion. That brings the grand total to 4.1 billion for infrastructure.

How is this going to be paid for?

Taxing the rich...duh! 😄

Well of course bud 😂😂😂
You damn sure know that will be what they say. Now I'm not a fan of Biden is all of this spending but I do like some of the things they want to do, especially relating to children. We really need to invest in our youth better. Now the 2 free years of community college can go.

Define investing in our youth?

If you’re talking teaching kids the hierarchy of skin color, I don’t support any of that. If you’re talking dumping money into a failed public education system, I want no part of it.

Now, if you’re talking school choice, let’s talk. If you’re talking early development of kids, let’s talk.

However, it makes you feel good that Biden and the Dems are investing in our children on paper but keep an eye on where the fake money goes. Do not be surprised if the teacher’s unions get a giant cut of fake money. As a society, we’ve done this for decades and all it’s done is hurt the children.

If I’m wrong and corn pop actually invests in kids, I’ll be the first to admit I’m wrong. But if I’m right and the money goes to teachers unions as a head fake to help the children out, then gross hopper, you have a lot to learn.

With that said, like I told you before, there is always a catch to these shitty bills and human infrastructure is not infrastructure. What the Dems did was very sneaky and now they have circumvented the filibuster because they know they would never have the votes to pass this garbage. If I’m an elected Republican official, this would be the last bill I compromise on under Biden.

So I ask you a few things:

1. Does this bill truly help the American people?
2. How long before the 400k threshold Biden has promised to raise taxes changes to dramatically pay for this garbage?
3. How much is actual infrastructure?
4. What social programs get cuts to help “pay” for this garbage?

I get your hesitation in believing that the money will go to pet projects, unions or be wasteful. Trust that I have my doubts too. The bills haven't been presented in detail yet, so I can only go by the "highlights". A higher child tax credit, more child care money for families, universal preK, paid family leave. Stuff that I was advocating for but that would help a lot of families.

I get that you don't think there is a such thing as human infrastructure because right now there isn't. As I've before, there wasn't a such thing as infrastructure, social security, welfare, etc until congress made it a thing. So 10-20 years from now, human infrastructure will be normal. That's how these things work.

1. Does this bill truly help the American people? It will definitely impact people. I can promise that. Every bill impacts people.
2. How long before the 400k threshold Biden has promised to raise taxes changes to dramatically pay for this garbage? We shall see but economist always said that taxes rich people will generate income
3. How much is actual infrastructure? No idea but I addressed that easier about "wording".
4. What social programs get cuts to help “pay” for this garbage? Nothing gets cut, just added.

Word Smithing. Human Infrastructure = $ for all that stupid crap that DEMS want to force down our throats, like the green new deal, trans gender studies in Pakistan, encouraging males, who identify as female to breast feed their children, etc.

The right and their obsession with the green new deal, I'll never get it.

AOC introduced her bill in 2019. If you use duckduckgo, you can easily find it. If fails to state how they plan on doing everything and how they are going to pay for it. Transforming every building in America to a "green" building will cost trillions and trillions. I work in Land Use and Development. We have clients who have to "make" their new development green. It's very expensive.

It's not even passed or on the house floor.
Not as a single bill but elements of it are in the $3.5B porkulus the democrats are going to pass via reconciliation.

It’s such a radical socialist economic takeover that just parts of it could transform the economy. That’s why it’s a lightning rod. It has nothing to do with the climate.

Elements of it has not been present yet. AOC wants all or nothing and Pelosi is focused on passing Biden climate goals. Biden doesn't support the green new deal and most democrats don't as written.

Your answer to #4 is why this country is in serious trouble financially

You will nvr get why people dont want to give away trillions of dollars to spend on the dumbest things possible..... Designed by a complete idiot? I dont get how you dont get that
There are 100 bills in congress that are purposed and awful. Why does this bill bothers Republicans so much? That's what I don't understand.

Most bills are not trillions of dollars.... Trillions... We dont like spending large amounts of money on stupid shit. Look at inflation now.

I've literally not seen one person on TV talk about the cost. It's about what's in it and who's for it.

You're making it seem like if they got the cost down, then you would support it. I am sure that's not the case.

I prefer infrastructure to stimi, by a country mile. That said, very little if this is about infrastructure, it's all about keeping the transition from cap to socialism, that trump began, going. Just the tip.

You watch CNN so that doesnt shock me. Ive seen the cost discussed at least 45 times. Even in the debates. If something is worth the money, i dont care who comes out with it

You really need to get over your hard on for Trump. You have a guy who is running this country who is a million times worse.

A million is a lot, and I am not a fan of Biden, I thought trump had a chance to do something curative when he was elected. I was dead wrong.

Are we really in trouble or is it just a concern? Seems like I hear this every year since I was like 13 and nothing.
That’s like being a chain smoker and saying “they’ve been telling me this will cause cancer for 30 years and nothing”.

Seriously?

He didn’t campaign…where did you ever get the idea he was anything more than a puppet? His stellar career track record?

The guy has been the consummate big Washington politician from the start, even down to how he’s made himself and his family rich on the back of influence.
