Saw Johnson's game last night. He was the most impressive prospect on a field that included Rivals250 DL Patrick Bethel. That says something about both Johnson and Bethel, I think. Bethel just wasn't the prospect I was expecting to see. He's still very good. I'm not knocking his ability. He has a great build and made a few plays. I'm just not certain he's one of the 250 best players in the country.
Johnson has nice size and runs great routes. He's the fastest WR in a straight sprint, but he gets open in a number of different ways and is plenty speedy to torch DBs at the high school level. I came away really impressed with him. Below is a quick conversation I had with him after the game.
