Is the end of the Mac era near?

Do any of you want mullen? I mean i have no doubt that hes way better than butters but do you think mullen can win big ?

Not sure anyone wants Mullen over say, Scott Frost. However, I love that Stricklin would have a short list with a fall back like Mullen. Such a better approach than Foley going out there looking for someone to make him look like he outsmarted everyone, ie - Zook and Mac.

Mullen wouldn’t be my top choice. However, Dak Prescott credited Mullen and his staff as the reason he was prepared to play as a rookie in the NFL. The guy develops QBs for sure. I think he could stabalize this thing and win, yes. Again, certainly not my first choice, but a huge upgrade nonetheless

Scott Frost or bust - I'm highly confident he'd go to UF over Nebraska given the fact that he's already been a head coach in the state and is used to the layout and how much easier it is to recruit to UF than Nebraska. He is THE guy, the next Meyer. Florida gets him, they'll win huge.

Either way, thank god Mac will be gone soon. I can't stand that man. Greatest news I've heard in a very long time.

Yep. Notice that the statement said no discussions between Mac and the Florida AD office. It does not say there have been no discussions about a buyout between Mac and boosters footing the bill.
