Well folks, the time has come. No more aliens, or politics, or academics, or games with sticks, or credit cards, or bar closures...

Game week is here. It is time to talk actual football and get this bitch started...

As for how sadgator sees it...sadgator will, for at least week 1, go ahead and give Florida the benefit of the doubt...Zaire starts, the offense looks better, defense looks shaky, but somehow someway, Florida eeks out a one point win at the gun...

This game scares me a lot. I think our O line is going to struggle some against that D line and we won't be able to just force our will on them in the running game and might get stuffed there much of the game. I think we make some plays on defense or special teams that will be the difference and win a close one.

I feel like we should win. Michigan returns 1 starter on defense, 4 on offense, and lost over 30 seniors. But I can't say I'm confident. I think we'll win but that's more of a heart pick than a head pick.

Again, any asshat that takes shots at sad is, well, an asshat. I kind of get the whole trolling thing but why feel the need to take shots at a guy who brings nothing but good to this board? And why do the locals allow it to happen? Am I missing something here?

These are also my thoughts. I think a 24-20 type game is in the offing.

I know that's a lot of points but sometimes is set up due to field position created by the defense and special teams. Our O will look fair. Not great but fair. Not bad but fair.

I see our pass rush giving UM problems. Speight is solidly average, but I see at least 2 TO's coming from him. The offense is going to be feast and famine. They will play that over the top defensive pressure strategy, which I call the "bully defense", but UF has the Oline to blunt the charge enough to get passes off. We will get sacked, probably 4-5 times in the game, but we will also get some big plays off. Their secondary is green as grass and they will have to play a lot of man, I expect the safeties to blow some coverages and us to hit some really big plays. We will also hit a couple of runs that slip through the charge, and with all that pressure, when you get past the first wave it will be nothing but green grass for a long way. They will run a lot early, but after we hit a couple and get a lead they will go to the pass more and we will eat them up.

It's not so unrealistic if the games goes the way he's saying, that's how about all of our UGA wins go... Close for the first half, we bust some big plays, force them out of their run and make them one dimensional...

It can go the same for both sides, I think Michigan is less equipped to come from behind than us though with their QB and run first style...

I'm not one of those.

With that said I wish you guys luck this weekend and hope both teams come out of the game injury free. Last time was a stinker but the other two times we played they were pretty damn entertaining games.

BTW, I think when the gators break out the all-orange uni's they are bitchin' cool.
