It’s sure seems like it. He continually takes his foot off the gas when he has a chance to put a team away. I really wish somebody would ask him why. I get that the opposition has time to adjust during halftime, but there is no excuse for running the plays that he typically runs in the second half of games, including bunching up the offensive line and then trying to run the ball up the middle or running wide receiver screens to the short side of the field and so on. I’m not sure bringing in an offensive coordinator under his direction would change much of that, but I guess that’s something we’ll never know.
