saw this on another board; but don't know if its accurate

"...Good news on Campbell, bad news on Delance. Hopefully he'll be back by Kentucky"

Anyone have anything reliable ?

Does anyone think if Delaney doesn’t play it alters the Miami outcome? Not talking long term, just this game.

I think it could make it real close as the 2nd stringers at tackle couldn't pass block worth a damn in the spring game. Heck even Forsythe had a time pass blocking. If he is moved to RT as people think might happen then Gouirage would probably be at LT where he was routinely beat on passing downs in that spring game.

Miami has one of the best pass rushing combo DEs in the country probably.

There are no Fall Practices or scrimages to go on.
Nobody can block that scUM DE combo,,, (scUM 3 - 35 Wis 8-5 in their last game).

And since this will be a replay of the Gator's Spring game that was 5-6 months ago, the Gators are doomed and should just go ahead and forfeit the game for the fevered brain...

Well their tackle situation may even be worse than ours - so there is that.

You keep saying that, but the Miami DL is not in Lindy's top 10, and none of their DLine is listed. So I'm thinking, not so much.

Maybe due to DT but they have one of the best group of DEs and LBs in the country. Definitely one of the best DE pass rushing duos.

Were those guys on the team that got trounced 3 - 35 vs 8-5 Wis?

Miami checked out for that bowl game. Garvin and that transfer are one of the best pass rushing combos in the country. In obvious passing downs they will both be on the field.

Come on back in the post game and give us your solid opinions on what happened in the game, I'm certain that you will be as entertaining as we've all come to expect from you...

Can anybody answer the original question about the health of Campbell & Delance?

DeLance was seen on crutches, but no 'official' as to it being serious or just cautionary.

Campbell has some issue with his groin and is listed as day to day for now.

"...Swamp247’reports that Florida starting right tackle Jean Delance went down with a leg injury in a recent practice. The severity of the injury is unknown at this time. Delance has been spotted on crutches, but again, it is unknown if that is a protective measure or an indication of something more serious.

If Delance is out for an extended period of time, there is redshirt sophomore TJ Moore or true freshman Michael Tarquin on the right tackle depth chart. However, Swamp247 hears another option is shuffling around the offensive line a bit. 247 reported starting left tackle Stone Forsythe moved to the right tackle spot in practice and had backup Richard Gouraige, a redshirt freshman, take over the starting left tackle position."

247 also reported that starting nose tackle, Kyree Campbell, is dealing with a groin injury as well. Campbell’s status is day to day at this time."

We are deep at receiver and running back, but the two spots we are thin, we seem to be getting thinner. Hope it's nothing serious. Thanks for the update Lander

Let's not forget Shaq Quarterman. IMO, arguably the most underrated and probably the most under appreciated LB in the country. All he's done at UM was make plays. Too bad UF was unable to land 2 fellow Oakleaf High School players who committed to UM in Jalen Rivers and Chantz Williams, although Rivers was much more coveted as we need more O lineman than rush backers.

I've watched all 3 of them play well before their high school days as Chantz and Jalen have been teammates of my youngest kid since they were 9-10 years of age.

We are going to win easy. We will out score them no problem.

Sounds like a deep bone bruise possibly on Delance. Does that mean he will be good by game time probably?

Get ready...

I almost think it's not even fair we have the dude from VTech at our disposal through the portal.

I see a low scoring game on this one....14-10....whoever....

"Injury-wise we expect everybody to play," Mullen said. "We have our couple guys with the season-ending injuries, but besides those we’re healthy coming out of training camp, we’re expecting everybody to practice today."

That's cause of dt depth after Ford. Miami's DEs are elite and 4-5 deep to rotate.

Using Wisconsin is not a good barometer either. The offense couldn't get so much as a first down, had phoned it in and the defense was on the field all game.

Not sold Ford is real good until I see it as he didn't look that good as a sophomore. That UCLA transfer really stood out on tape in 2017 however with how he would leverage those taller linemen and then get lateral so quick to run plays down.

None of them individually was listed as top 20. Florida has Zuniga at #8.
