In another thread I make the argument that Carlos Dunlap is the poster boy as far as former Florida football players in the NFL.
There really are a few legitimate options. My criteria would be good players at the NFL level, no off field issues, you would hope that they have big contracts (that is big when you sell them to prospects you are recruiting).
Real candidates:
Maurkice Pouncey
Joe Haden
Marcus Gilbert
Jordan Reed
My argument on why Dunlap is the current NFL face of Florida football
----------------
It is an opinion and obviously, anyone on here is entitled to best remember any player for whatever reason they choose. If that is what sticks out most to you about Carlos Dunlap, that is your choice.
However, I would say that other than that bump in the road, he is perhaps the picture perfect example of what you would want a former Florida football player to be like and want your own kids to pattern themselves after. You are talking about a guy, who though highly successful in the NFL (he has signed a good 50-60 million dollars worth of contracts), he came back and graduated from Florida and got his Masters from Miami. Hell, today for TBT he posted his time interning at the United Nations. He is still very active with following Florida football and actually took the time to tweet to a top 2018 target who's last name is Dunlap as well (Though they aren't related).
If you were to ask Florida football who they hold up as the poster boy for former Florida players in the NFL, I would bet he would garner his fair share of votes.
