A lot happens this time of year, but it also becomes easier to see trends. Primarily by seeing how the coaches are recruiting at the end.
So for the remaining spots...
TE spot
-coaches aren't scrambling. No word about Mathias perhaps being in this class. It seems like Eubanks or bust. Primarily it seems the coaches are comfortable with that scenario. A good sign about our chances with him.
WR spot
- Stove isn't coming here. NCM isn't coming here. Yet, the staff isn't offering a ton of new receivers and trying to find some kind of solid contributor. Tends to make me feel confident about Tyrie Cleveland.
OL spot
- the coaches are scrambling. They definitely don't have a solid verbal for the final spot. They are trying to find somebody to fill this spot. Thankfully the are only primarily offering elite OL.
DE spot
- I feel good about Burns, but not scrambling isn't a key sign in this scenario. That is because we are already so loaded at the position in this class. So I feel like he ends up a Gator, but recruiting activity is no tell here.
LB spot
- the coaches have a verbal, but from whom? It could Wilson or more likely Uche. UF will land one, but which one?
I doubt this class ends with 30 like once predicted.
I think we add 5 and subtract 3 ending up with 28.
