that a team playing for the National Championship would:
1. Have 13 turnovers in the game
2. Shoot for less than 40% from the field
3. Give up 15 offensive rebounds
4. Get called for 2 technical fouls
5. Have their star player and leading scorer not get his first point in the game until just under 15 minutes left to play
6. Score only 65 points in the game
what would you have said the probability of that team winning the game would be?
I would have said less than 10%. If I were betting that set of facts I would have wanted more like 20-1 odds that they would win, which is more like 5%.
I am still in complete disbelief that our beloved Gators won that game. I'm still pinching myself, it's so surreal. One of the greatest moments in Florida Gator sports history! "One Shining Moment", baby!!
