I will not wear a mask

As for OP, do you understand that wearing a mask isn’t about your health but the health of the people you come in contact with? And do you understand that many of the working poor have no choice but to encounter idiots like yourself? So some working poor cashier has to deal with a bunch of anti mask morons and exponentially increase the chances of either getting sick themselves or bringing the virus home to get their parents or grandparents sick, all so you can... what is your point again?

@bradleygator sure knows a lot about poor people shopping in grocery stores and gas stations. I feel like it's his only area of expertise.

90% of what I saw in that thread was entitled leftists clamoring for Medicare for all.

These really are sheep ready to be sheered and sent to the slaughter.

My mom had a chronic illness and it took a while to find the right medicine for her. Then medicare decided it didnt want to cover that one anymore and she had to search for a new one. The new one was never as good as the original and her quality of life suffered.

Then another treatment was discontinued in favor for a cheaper less effective one.

Then they were going to discontinue a med that was literally keeping her alive and dad was going to buy it from overseas out of pocket when she passed. She passed 2 weeks before she would have had to buy the quasi-legal meds. It was not a bank buster but expensive none the less.

Saw a video 2 days ago where a Brit said he was denied an antibiotic due to his age. He fortunately got over his illness on his own. He was 70.

These people dont know or dont care that rationing under such schemes is inevitable and some people will be denied a healing treatment and forced into palliative care just because of their age and some bureaucrat's one size fits all edict.

One day it will be them begging for a cure as they are cast off and sent to the glue factory.

Now that's fine for them to choose that but why must they always include me in their schemes?

I just want a system where my doctor prescribes a cure and for whoever took my money, every month, to pay for it.

My body my choice. If you can murder babies with that line, i can use it to not wear a mask

Furthermore it reminded me of the twilight zone episode called The Shelter.

"It is a typical evening in a typical suburban community. At the residence of physician Bill Stockton, he enjoys a birthday party being thrown for him by his wife Grace and their son Paul. Also at the party are Jerry Harlowe, Bill's brother-in-law; Frank Henderson and Marty Weiss, Bill and Jerry's former roommates; and the wives and children of Jerry, Frank, and Marty. Bill is well known and liked by this gathering; he attended the State University with Marty, Frank, and Jerry. Moreover, Bill has repeatedly administered to the health and well-being of each one of said guests and/or delivered their children. Everyone is especially friendly and jovial, even when mention is made of Bill's late-night work on a fallout shelter which he has built in his basement. Suddenly, a Civil Defense (CONELRAD) announcement overheard by young Paul is made that unidentified objects have been detected heading for the United States. In these times, everybody knows what that means: nuclear attack.

As panic ensues, the doctor locks himself and his family into his shelter. The same gathering of friends becomes hysterical and now wants to occupy the shelter. All of the previous cordiality is now replaced with soaring desperation; pent-up hostility, searing nativism, and other suppressed emotions boil to the surface. Stockton offers his basement to the guests, but the shelter itself has sufficient air, provisions, and space for only three people (the Stocktons themselves). The once-friendly neighbors do not accept this; they break down the shelter door with an improvised battering ram. Just then, a final Civil Defense broadcast announces that the objects have been identified as harmless satellites and that no danger is present. The neighbors apologize for their behavior; yet Stockton wonders if they have destroyed each other without a bomb"

The entitled (leftists) break down the door ensuring everyone dies (egalitarianism) except luckily it was a false alarm and the responsible prepared doctor ( conservative) escapes.

In today's culture there would be no apology. And once the door was broken down the Stocktons would have been "canceled" aka beaten to death. Even after the all clear there would be no remorse and the house would be looted and burnt to the ground.

Part of the "off grid" plan in the woods in a county with minimal codes and sparse population is to do things I want to keep secret even if permitted by code. The poor doctors flaw was to tell people he had a shelter.

BBC correspondent. There is zero consensus that wearing a mask helps. This is why some people aren't doing so. It has nothing to do with Karens demanding that they do, although that doesn't help.

You know, OP, I had the same feeling, and still do, but my wife asked me a simple question when Gov. Abbott of Texas brought a lite-mandate on wearing masks: Do you choose to honor God or yourself? I just looked at her as she said I worship God and therefore should honor my governor even though I disagree with him. So, I wear my useless mask when I go inside buildings with people. I know it's stupid. I know it's worthless, but I do it anyway. It actually removed my pride and allowed me to be more in control of my life. In my clinic I do not wear it or have my patients wear it, but if they come in and are uncomfortable with me not wearing one, I will put it on and treat them.
Could you please clarify what type of doctor you are? Are you a MD? Specifically an infectious disease specialist? Are you more qualified than Dr. Fauci?

Also, I am keen to learn more about how you propose to honor God going forward, especially if Biden wins. If Biden curbs gun ownership, requires you to wear a mask, mandates an expansion of Obamacare...will you abide all those things, since he is your president?

Thanks in advance for your answers!!

Does it penetrate your thick skull that a 5>7 Micron mask does not stop a 2>4 Micron virus?
And my mask, like many others, has an exhaust vent that doesn't stop jackchit..... o_O
My mask stops me from getting air-borne bacteria and not much else.
My wet eyes go unprotected by a mask.
Dudlygoater is a dufus with little critical thinking abilities...

PS
My last trip to Ollies I had a mask on, but the poor cashier didn't and she frowned at me, giving me a dirty look, when I lightheartedly asked her where her mask was.
