If no responses are generated it should be moved into a merged thread.

That's why the trolls started replying to their own threads, cause everyone else ignored it and they were trying to keep them from getting deleted.

I would adopt a 3-strike system: Every time you start a thread that gets no replies, you get a strike. Start 3 0 reply threads in a month, you get banned for at least a month.

That will learn them to stop being trolls and start contributing to threads as an adult.

LOL at the trolls get 0 replies, then I start a thread mocking them, then the trolls come HERE to respond to me.
