A reporters job is to report facts, not to decide for the iG, what the truth is....

Walter was who we watched and trusted for the news when I was growing up....

Walter Cronkite was the Reporter who covered so many other important events. As CBS Evening News Anchor for many years, Cronkite became a part of many American families as he brought us the news in a straight-forward and fair manner. No matter how he felt personally, you never saw that during his broadcast.

But back in those days, when the Government/Military told you to STFU about something, (just like with Roswell), you STFU....

Like with so many other incidents on this subject, most of the general public has never even heard of this before....

This is true in my experience.

Very close friend of my wife was an anchor in Tulsa. She was visiting a few years ago and I asked her why left leaning politics are so pervasive in the news business.

At first she looked at me like I had two heads...and all she could come up with was some BS like "I guess it's because we have to tell such human stories to be good at what we do".

1) Her answer didn't really make sense
2) It insinuated that anyone who isn't a democrat is a heartless bastard

I don't know about that. The best news source for the past couple of years was OANN, until the Socialist got them kicked off cable for doing a reporters job correctly....

They were gaining viewership steadily until they got woke/cancelled.... 😡
Fox News is a lukewarm, washed out, poor substitute imo, barely watchable after getting used to OANN.... 😣
