This is correct but this country has been the victim of a bust out by both parties for the last 30 years. It’s not a partisan issue. Go look at the trajectory of our national debt the last 30 years and compare it to the share of wealth held by the top 10/1 percent. Meanwhile our infrastructure is in decay, our military is antiquated and its ability to project force is dwindling and our economy is based solely on pumping asset prices with no domestic manufacturing anywhere. This wasn’t accomplished by one party. It’s a bust out. Time to rise and shine people.

I remember right out of college I was a poor lad. I went on a scotch kick for a little while. Have you ever tried Old Smuggler? I didn't drink scotch for very long after that experiment. 😂 I've smelled varnish that was more appealing than that.

I am sure this is sarcasm at its best, but from someone who has lived in a HUGE military community to see the people who are in the service now, compared to only 7-10 years ago makes you want to cry. DEI has really taken its toll. Fat, lazy people many who were promoted for the wrong reasons (equity, gender race) instead of how good they do their job. So far, it does not seem to have crept in to SOC NEAR as much as the regular force, and some Generals I know SWEAR these young kids are awesome....but they do not pass the eye test. And so many people retire early because of the stuff mentioned above...the GOOID people getting passed over for someone with different color skin, or different plumbing. My wife retired earlier than she wanted to because of the BS.
Ron the only thing wrong with our military is the bodies we're putting into it currently in the Navy and Army, as 70 percent of Gen z/a isn't physically or mentally fit to serve.
