I like to think I am fairly objective when it comes to the team, not in the "sky is falling" group nor look at everything through Orange and Blue glasses. I'll admit when it comes to the defense, I'm still more concerned than optimistic they've turned the corner.
I noticed a story in the past few days lauding the defense for limiting the GA running game after the initial 75 yd run. Well, first, they allowed the run but also the yds per carry after the long run was still troublesome. We didn't stop the run, GA stopped running. More concerning is the pass defense. If GA hit 50% of the deep passes that were open this game would have been much closer at best and potentially worse.
Franks can hit the deep ball. He won't miss if we allow guys running wide open.
