For example, Elon, go spend $100M in ads properly educating people on how, for example the TCJA did raise revenue but entitlement spending exploded, especially under medicaid. Just show people the facts. Get the reasonable people to go WHOA this is f...crazy as we saw with lockdowns, immigration, inflation, etc. The 2024 election was a return to common sense items.

We need higher revenue - if they want to remove my social security in the years when I am pulling $750K in income, whatever. Want to put in a 41% rate in a year when I earn and realize $2M or more in income - fine.

The SALT item is also a HUGE driver of revenue shortage. F that. Tell Newsome, Hochel, to spend less. You already have the government covering 90% of your state medicaid population. Keep it at $10K, or even phase that out based on income.

The pass through partnership rate is also a very expensive item.

In short, you hit spending, hit the start of entitlements hit taxes and you are making real progress.

Also - need to kick with reg reform and keep up with low cost of oil. I like solar and nuclear as it reduces burden on oil demand and drops prices. Good.

100, 1000% agree. America need not subsidize insane state and local goverments for their out of control woke spending, because THAT is what SALT deductions are. If one doesn't like my statement and consider themselves a fiscal conservative, then move the eff out of your oppressor state. Businesses need to move their companies to a more tax friendly state as well, that ends any argument a conservative has that they are prisoners to their job. Priorities, get them some.

Good luck getting any real SS cuts in place before stuff starts crashing. It would be political suicide. Stuff will have to hit the fan and I am not sure what they will do. I guess I would start with reducing payouts to people with money as way to buy a few years before throwing a bunch of grannies in the streets. The lefties that got us to this point where there are no young people to keep the system going much longer will be the first to see what happens. Gen X is the first generation that will have quite a few older women that never had kids so no family support. As far as Gen X men with no kids there will be fewer and no one gives a damn if an old man is forced homeless into the streets anyway.
