As we prepare to begin our weekly Following the Future feature, I went back and looked at week one from last year. Of Florida's 11 commits at that time, six didn't sign with the Gators.

Yes, there was a coaching change.
So, I went back to the year before that.
In that class, of the 16 prospects who were committed the first week of the high school football season, five of them didn't sign with the Gators.

The year before that, there were 19 commits the opening weekend of high school ball, and only two didn't sign with the Gators.
