Increasingly, I am of the mind that is a significant issue and true.

Trump got it exactly right that other EU countries never paid their fair share and then "guilted" the US when we asked them to do it.

Let's put it this way. I can watch Fox all day long, I can barely watch CNN. I get more angry watching clips of the View (which I cannot even watch 3 seconds of) then Grantham getting abused on the same counter-trey action against LSU in 2020.

I have many conservative /MAGA views - starting with immigration.

My biggest, consistent issue with Trump, was simply that we was undisciplined at points and the media made hay out of it, to juice rating and swing moderates/independents (Using Ghost's term: College-educated, female "sheep"). In short, if you have the game won against LSU, Marco Wilson, don't throw the (radio edit) shoe.
This board's biggest issue with me is around Abortion. I hate Abortions, but I refuse to lose any more elections because people in a blue urban city in an otherwise red state make that their only reason for voting for one party or another.

It is also part of my view of just "get government out of it". If anything, it is a libertarian position, not a left one per se. If you were in turn going to ask, "should the government, in the name of 'equity', fund abortions, the answer is NO unless it is for the health of the mother."

The real problem in society is not that they are teaching liberal values, or Democratic positions, it is that it is Marxist/Frankfurt school of philosophy socialism or worse. Add in globalism (of which for decades, I was a proponent of) and you have the core tensions in today's political discussion sphere.

Dude..you sound MUCH like me and my beliefs. Abortion I am 100% good for it to be handled by States. Not in my top 10 of important matters. As far as Trump...where I differ BIG TIME is NOT tht Trump would shoot his foot at times. It is that I REFUSE to let lefty media control my votes. Trump DELIVERED FOR AMERICA, plain and simple.
