Unless it is sexual harassment, drug abuse and/or dealing, inappropriate behavior with a student, theft, academic scandle, or anything unethical it would be silly to fire him.

Bad fit from day 1. Both sides have realized that now after the fact. With that being said we are talking about Auburn football where the boosters run the football program.
When they ran Tommy Tuberville out of town after he had beaten Bama six straight times you knew they didn’t have good football sense.

Yep they probably need to move on if they have a target in mind. He is falling apart quickly there.
As long as the boosters control the football program this will be a repeating cycle.
But who could they honestly bring in with spring football just two months away? Those dumbasses should have kept Gus with the amount of money they were stupid enough to sign him for as an extension.

Sounds like a few of the 20 or so players that bolted are crying he was too strict and treated them like dogs etc. Having any real discipline probably equals that to these young players now with how they were raised and allowed to run wild in school etc.
