Former walk-on wide receiver Case Harrison, a Gainesville High graduate who was awarded a scholarship a year ago, has quit the team and is looking to transfer.

Harrison, a redshirt junior, missed preseason camp after undergoing hernia surgery. He made the decision to leave after he learned Monday his scholarship was not being renewed.

Harrison remains enrolled at UF this fall and is on track to graduate in December. He will transfer after that.

“I found out like right before classes were starting that I just wasn’t on scholarship anymore. With that and recovering from my injury, I'm just focused on getting my degree and then figuring it out after that,” Harrison said.
