After the Breonna Taylor ordeal, didn’t they want to ban the no knock warrant? Now we are doing away with warrants related to gun seizures? What will be next, entering citizen’s home because they posted a meme about the president?

Remember, you lefty morons voted for this. 100% ****ing clueless as usual.

Sounds like a great idea.
Allow a warrantless search and and seizure based on what the government describes as "non-investigatory public interest, such as health or safety". That can't possibly get abused or turned into a weapon by a tyrannical government.

First created by the Supreme Court nearly 50 years ago, the community caretaking exception was designed for cases involving impounded cars and highway safety, on the grounds that police are often called to car accidents to remove nuisances like inoperable vehicles on public roads.
But in its first amicus brief before the High Court, the Biden Administration glossed over these concerns and called on the justices to uphold the First Circuit’s ruling. Noting that “the ultimate touchstone of the Fourth Amendment is ‘reasonableness,’” the Justice Department argued that warrants should not be “presumptively required when a government official’s action is objectively grounded in a non-investigatory public interest, such as health or safety.”

So basically hide behind the curtain of health and safety and you can legally seize guns?

Agreed but think bigger. The German people had their gun rights stripped away, that ushered in the Nazi regime.

Something to think about 🤔
Exactly.
"You sir, Mr BillCutting4585, have been a little to cavalier on those message boards. We have deemed you as high risk for participation in another January 6th 'rebellion'. We think you might be the next guy to break into the capitol and take a selfie at Pelosi's desk. Stand aside."

But tyranny won’t happen in America. We’re above that!!! Also, Donald Trump is literally Hitler!!! So let’s enact legislation and laws that allow someone that is literally Hitler to take power and do literally Hitler things!!!

Liberals like to pretend they are the smartest in the room.

Confused. Our Government (Mostly Dems) and our Media and Social Media: Law Enforcement is bad, Law Enforcement is racist. Law enforcement kill minorities. Defund the Police. Disband the Police. Oh, yeah, law enforcement, we need you to go into homes and seize guns, without a warrant, but make sure you knock on the door and annouce yourself first.

I see no problem. Seems like a good idea.

Liberalism is a mental disorder...we should deny gun ownership to all liberals based on mental health alone.
Registered Democrat...no gun.

Both Jimmy Carter and Obozo are standing and applauding this shit-tiered administration. Both of their RPIs just got a big bounce and their status as "Worst Presidents Ever" is securely off the table now. Xiden will go down in the history books right next to Daryll Mudra as worst coach to ever grace a power 5 team.😂

"Never underestimate Joe's ability to fvck things up".

My step-father from Millard County (Meadow) Utah told me one time that gun control was hitting the target the first time. I have no Idea what they are talking about now.

Ammo is expensive now days. Kids were target practicing and I told my wife. Just wait until dad gets home.
The reloading supplies are pricey now. I can’t find primers locally. You can buy them online but pay $35 for the hazard pay. It’s basically paying twice for a box of a 1000 primers.

Finding a primer here is laughable. I use Center Fire Systems or Palmetto State Armory.

Are they charging you a hazard fee?

I like palmetto, purchased quite a few things from them but the shipping from SC to UT is god awful slow.

This is not an administration that cares about re-election. Fully owned Democrat govt is pushing EOs like a chain smoker and trying to kill the filibuster. Four years of lost time trying to be made up for in six months. They need all this legislation they were saying they weren’t going to do on the trail passed before ‘22. If a sane person wins in ‘24 they are going to have their hands full.

I think they’re trying to get this all passed because they know they’re losing the house in 2022 and none of their bull shit will get passed. It is crucial for the future of this country to flip the house and senate or we’re in some real shit and we’re looking at a lot of pissed off Americans that will turn on the government.

First off, as a cop...F that mess. Even if I thought it was ok to disarm law abiding citizens, which i clearly do not, there's no way I'm knocking on your door to take your gun...not unless I'm issued an M1A2 main battle tank...and then all bets are off. Driving over the Chevy Nova parked on blocks in your front yards trumps your silly personal freedoms.

Second, it's unconstitutional and not just because of the 2nd Amendment. This also destroys the 4th Amendment.

Thank you for seeing this rationally. I’ll invite you in for coffee but don’t touch my guns 😉

in all seriousness, what they have proposed in 2A gun control and HR1 will dramatically change this country if passed

It can’t just be about winning in ‘22. That’s been the problem from day one with Republicans. They’ve been handed the keys to the bus before and never drive off the lot. Democrats light the bus on fire and head straight into traffic. Republicans need to actually legislate and grow a f’n pair and play as dirty as Democrats do.

I believe most of us appreciate your approach to this as law enforcement. The problem is I don’t trust there are enough cops like you out there. I know there are plenty, but there are also plenty of lemmings that will go along with confiscation and seizure. Just like Florida has grown during the pandemic, people will move where they can be free. These types of legislations and where they are enforced are going to naturally cause physical boundaries of ideologies in the long run.

If they ever get all three branches back, they better undo all this shit and more. Will they, doubtful.

Exactly. Until Republicans start embracing their libertarian roots and doing something they’re just as culpable in this garbage.
Agreed, I’d be all for firing all of them, putting the average American in charge and putting some severe back stops in place to control what they can and can’t get away with.

Then the previous house and senate members get investigated to see if they’ve committed any crimes. Innocent, good to go. Guilty, off to prison you go.

In the south I would say, conservatively, 95% of cops agree with me on this one. Up north the numbers probably get more sketchy but I'd speculate that 95% of the country, excluding blue shitholes, well over 50% of the cops agree with me.

The VAST majority of cops are pro 2A. The law would be unenforceable even if this bizzarro world came to fruition.

FTR, I wouldn't defy the order. I would hand in my badge.

If I offered you a Million dollars to go door to door in the south to take peoples guns away. Would you do it? Think about it if your family could be set up for life.
