As to the trophy, you got one in the last 39 years, while we've had 3 NC trophies and 2 more Heisman QB's in the last 25 years.

Not true. In 2012 we were a USC upset of ND short of playing for the national title. Driskel had to go turnover crazy for us to drop that game that year.
Both Utah and Oregon were over-rated…but Utah is a better team than Oregon…
For the record, and in all candor, Florida is now over-rated…
Utah was ranked higher coming i ln and I agree with that even without meaningless rankings. Oregon is starting over so not sure why they got so much hype other than returning talent maybe. Lanning seemed to be the shiny object for them. He doesnt have a ton of experience and may not be ready for that job. The only time the rankings will really matter is come selection Sunday. And there’s a ton of politics involved in that.

Just looking at the AP poll Mich State might be the only team I would put in front of us for now. There is a little argument this early in the season for Utah also with how they lost and the game being in the Swamp.
Both overrated...but Oregon was way way overrated. Utah smacked them 38-10 in Pac 12 champ and it wasn't that close.
I think Utah can go 9-3 and maybe win the PAC 12. Not sure how good that USC team is they bought from the portal.

Uh…if Utah actually does what it should have done and runs the ball from the 6 at the end of the game to score (which it would have)…how would your opinion be different about where Florida should be ranked relative to those teams…

Actually about the same as I would maybe only put Michigan State above us on a neutral field. It's also why I said being early Utah could barely be in front of us would be an argument because of how they lost on the road.

Not sure you can say "which it would have". Pretty sure we had a goal line stand earlier in the game. Yes, we were tired, but run defense tightens up when there is so little field to defend.
Also, if we are going to play the "what if" game, what if we don't fumble on the opening drive? We had them on their heels and were abusing their defense. Very likely we score there. What does the game look like if we are up 7-0 rather than down 7-0?
