Well teams keep hiring Lovie Smith for some reason. Retreading of bad coaches has always been a thing in football, even more so in the NFL. Some things just can’t be explained.
I honestly don’t see how. I mean, he’s never been good, but we had some of the most inept defenses I’ve ever seen the past couple seasons. Was there a point when he was coaching for you guys that he just kept getting gashed again and again by the same play and never made any adjustments like we did last year at LSU? I remember the third and grantham thing from his time with you guys and miss st, but… samford! We were in a dogfight with samford. I don’t remember that happening before.
At both stops he had good results the first season or two despite the 3rd and him stuff. But then it went off the rails. Richt of course was too much of a dufus to just fire his ass. It took him leaving to go with with Pigtrino. All of Dawg Nation rejoiced that day.

What they always try to ignore, is the facts that don't fit the VI narrative that they are pushing....
Took over a 4-7 team with a #69 defense.
1st season improved that to the #20 defense, 10-3.
2nd season improved that to the #7 defense. 11-2
Then the scamdemic hit and things rapidly turned to chit at Socialist-U....
I think there are some coaches who are much better at interviewing than coaching.

Please. You have no idea, man. sadgator is still partially emotionally scarred from the Muschamp tenure. There was a tiny little piece of gator fandom inside of sadgator that died forever during that 4 year trip through hell. sadgator is 100% serious…it has never been the same since…and never will…
I always felt Boom was a Gator plant at Georgia. Never thought he was really a Dawg especially when he got the job down there. But I’m happy as hell to have him on Kirby’s staff. Never worried about Lanning leaving as long as Boom was there.
Screwed up our program for sure.....didn't help SC either. Maybe GaTech will hire him next
Tech is plenty screwed up all on their own. Looks to me like he’s accepted that being HC isn’t his thing. Hanging out in Athens with Kirby and Bobo suits him.
He should go mid major route. He's a really good D coordinator. I'm guessing someone will give him another shot.

He's again the starter at WDE/BUCK and voted a 2nd Team All SEC for 2022.
However, CB Kimber was not named a starter, but he is in the 2nd team rotation.
CB starters for the Gators will be Marshall and Helm.
Kimber was good enough to be the starter for UGly, but not for the Gators....
