There are false negative tests. Are you testing weekly? Sooner or later you may be positive and You are infective BEFORE the test.
I am NOT suggesting frequent testing just pointing out that you can not be sure you are virus free. Of course there is a low risk of infection. But with millions of interactions it will happen often enough to spread the infection. You reduce your risk of infecting others by socially distancing and mask wearing.

It means that you probably didn’t have it at the time you took the test. It’s possible that 1) you have since been infected and 2) the test result may have been incorrect.
