I'll say this: If they can work it out timing wise, I think it would be better to have Senate hearings. Simply because I think the nation needs to see, right before election, what evil people the dems are. A lot of moderates and people that just don't care about politics likely missed seeing the circus they pulled over Kavanaugh. What they will do to a woman being nominated to replace their beloved activist rbg will make what they did to Kavanaugh look like romper room.

If the Republicans go straight to vote, the dems will scream about how unfair it all is and a lot of independents and moderates that really don't follow politics that closely will tend to agree, I fear.

They will hold hearings. I can’t wait until the American people see the vile RATS and their mob. attack one of the female nominees and go after the gop senators.. it will also takes Biden’s running mate Covid off the table

Both Barrett and Lagoa have been vetted within the last year and were then confirmed with bi-partisan votes.
Heads up on a House hearing today held by angry lefties about the "propriety" of a vote close to an election. Watch for Jim Jordan to ask star witness Dimm Senator Whitehouse some VERY direct questions about his involvement with dark money.

Careful. Romney backs a vote...not a promise to confirm, though. I do not trust him one minute.

Romney will go with the political winds. He doesn't mind slamming Trump, that wins him points in DC. But attacking Trump's nominees.....that's a lot tougher to explain. Same thing with Murkowski and Collins, they will go after Trump, but not so much the judges he nominates.

This is all unfolding very nicely. The Dems heads will implode. Then implode again on election night/week. It will probably take 3 days to count all the mail in votes. Then they will implode for good.
Michigan judge - a Barry O appointee - just gave that state up to 14 days to count mail in ballots. Now you see why we need a full SCOTUS...but we must be prepared to see Dems argue in creative ways...because the conservatives on the court are fair and moral folks and may feel like they have to rule for the left if they cook up some fake obscure moralistic argument.

This is why its ridiculous to think of SCOTUS judge breakdown as liberal vs conservative judges.

Liberals vote on what they want the law to be, conservatives vote on what the law IS.

Every liberal judge votes in a way that favors liberals. No judge on the court ever votes for what is best for conservatives.
