Wow, that ancient home game streak that UF got when FSU was just beginning sure lends the same cred that Army gets from their early streaks. You realize that you have to go back more than 40 yrs to have a winning record vs the Noles. You now have recruits' parents that weren't born then. I'm certain this current streak pales in comparison. BTW, I do think you guys could take Army though.
Wrong as usual.
But you can always depend on that against an fsu person.
1981 to 2005: UF won 13 games, FSU: 13 (a 25 yr period)
1981 to 2009: UF won 17 games, FSU: 13 (a 29 yr period)
1981 to 2012: UF won 18 games, FSU: 15 games (a 32 yr period)
1981 to 2015: UF won 18 games, FSU: 18 games (a 35 yr period)
35 < 40 years! Didn't have to go back > 40 years to see UF winning more often than FSu.
From 1981 to 2006-2014 (a span of a 9 yrs), UF has won more often than FSU in this series!
It was only after the 2016 game, that FSU started winning more (19 to 18 games) than Florida if 1981 was the reference point. This could very easily be reversed if Florida goes on another winning streak of their own.

I'll make it easier for you. I don't have to go back 40 years to see UF winning more often than FSU.
From 2004 to 2016: UF won 7 games; FSU won 6 games ( a 13 yr period).
Game, Set, Match!
