The Bulldogs opened as 2-point favorites over the Crimson Tide at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under opened at 51.5. The SEC foes will meet Jan. 10 in Indianapolis.

Kind of surprised to see that though you would think the line would have to move Bama's way. I do have a feeling Georgia will benefit from seeing what didn't work on defense last time and will have a chance at the end to win the game. Hopefully they find a way to lose to Bama again however.

Just watching that first game I think Georgia will go back to its normal defense for Bama this time. Smart tried to get cute thinking he was going to outsmart them and it showed that crap isn't going to work and you have to pressure that QB. Could be wrong and hope I am but I think Georgia might keep Bama under 30 this time.

Don't disagree, but to me dawgs were getting pressure with 4 man rush all year, then Bama went hurry up and their line got fatigued and they couldn't get pressure with just rushing 4. Kirby will need to blitz this time and hope their weak secondary can hold up.

I agree and if I remember right Georgia blitzed early in that game and got burned on the play and then Kirby basically hardly blitzed the rest of the game. He would have to be a bigger idiot then we think already to try that strategy again.

Good point Paco. Georgia offense not built for comebacks, so they will need to keep it close early.

And I got killed the day matchups were announced when I said that UM would get killed because Harbuagh was too stubborn to do it. And, he was, and he was embarrassed.

add to it Kirby knew Harbaugh and his DC are pro minded, so he used pseudo-tempo, didn’t allow substitutions and UM D was confused quite often.

We will never know just how impactful being the underdog will be to an actual result, and I know it likely varies from game to game, but if there is even the slightest chance that it motivates Bama even more....I'm glad for it.

Sorry I do not see UG doing any better this time around. Same bowl haircut guy leading the charge, same qb named Stetson (c'mon) wearing the doggie jersey and the same "A" on the helmets of the opposition. UA by 20.... AGAIN!!!
