I would like to just toss out that we just gave up 13 points to a top 10 team today, and Georgia gave up 14 points to a 1-4 team.

Is this what the UGLY fans mean when they've been bragging about their defense and telling us they could shut down the New England Patriots this year?

Another week goes by and I am less than impressed by the so called #3 team. It's gotta be bad when your coach 4th and dumb is getting schooled by Mr. Potatohead from Tennessee.

In fairness, UT was going balls to the wall and playing on full emotions. That only lasts for a half or less. They had basically 0 to lose

But saying that is like saying Auburn showed up to lose and didn't try at all to win. Your team should be going out to play hard and give 100% every game/every play ideally.

UGA is a very good team. They won big...it was tight for a minute. They are one of the best teams in the country. Very well coached and they have lots of depth. We could beat them but not how we played today. I think we're better coached and we have great athletes but they are very good. I hate UGA but they are very good.

Maybe but even LSU hasn’t played anyone yet and are unproven against a really good defense. LSU will see the best defense they’ve seen all year next Saturday when Florida comes to town. Bama and Clemson are the only two teams I see. Georgia is a really good football team. Are they beatable, yes but to sit here and say they aren’t a top 4-5 team is ridiculous.

Oklahoma won 45-20 and was up 21-7 at half and outgained them 545-360? If that’s a struggle what was our Miami and Kentucky games?

Agreed...they are a very good team. We'll see how the year shakes out.

Road night games are rough. Even though the fleas ripped us for having to come back against UK, I'm giving them a pass for being behind in the 2nd quarter against UT. Emotion can mask weaknesses early on for the home team at night.

Yeah we sucked against Miami and Kentucky but that was a different team than what we have now. We are better on offense right now with Trask and Emory. Also we are healthy!

We still aren’t even all the way healthy. Toney is still out and Zuniga has missed the last 3 games. We finally did get some other players like Henderson, Stewart, Miller, and Burney back.

But that’s what I’ve been saying from jump. Everybody wanted to bash the team and call them overrated while pretending we were playing with a full deck. It doesn’t matter the opponent winning on the road is hard and two of our first three games were away from home against P5 teams when most teams hadn’t even left their home stadium yet. Now funny they have and a lot of teams have had questionable performances. Damn I wonder why.

There's a difference between having a good/great team and having fans that go around shitting on other fans claiming asshat things that the buttsniffers have here all offseason and into this season so far, such as the FACT that their defense is so good they would shut down the New England Patriots, and that they would win the superbowl with their defense. I have heard both these boasts from the local buttsniffer crowd, and that is the impetus of this thread, not to say that their team sucks. Only their coach sucks and everyone knows that. Jeremy freaking Pruitt was schooling him some last night with his atrocious tennessee team.

Maybe Oklahoma too. Their defense seemed like it might be average and I think hurts makes them even better on offense. LSU is a little bit in the same category. Regardless, we’re hitting everyone’s real schedule now so we’ll all know soon enough

I think Florida is a great team with an elite defense but I think Trask will struggle in that environment at LSU next week. If he does play a decent game it still may not be enough to keep pace with Borrows and that electric offense.
Good news for the Gators though is if y'all lose in BR you still control your own destiny.

Also, you stated LSU hasn't played anyone but I would consider that win at Texas a big game IMO.

I think Florida is a great team with an elite defense but I think Trask will struggle in that environment at LSU next week. If he does play a decent game it still may not be enough to keep pace with Borrows and that electric offense.

Would't say they haven't played anyone, but I think it's fair to say they haven't played anyone with a defense.

Every team they have faced got 30+ scored on them at least 2 other times this season.

They have playmakers and a hot QB but I am not willing to concede anything. I think we go in there and beat them.

It’s tough to doubt the logic in any of this. Texas is definitely a big win, and in the road, but we dont know how good Texas really is. They certainly don’t have the defense the Gators do.

If we can’t keep them off of Trask, it will be tough to win. He’s prone to fumbling when he gets hit. If we keep a clean pocket and don’t turn it over I like our chances.

I've been impressed with our players effort, this team has some issues but they dont quit...I love that part and this team is very unselfish. Coaching has been great too. 6-0 headed into BR!
