I just exchanged messages with the father of Joshua Braun, who chose Georgia over the Gators several months back.
Braun attended a game earlier this season as well, but told Joseph shortly after that he was just there with people he knew and not as a recruit.
According to Braun’s father, John Hevesy will be visiting the family at some point today.
“Yes. Should see him soon. I don’t know when he’s coming by. He has a full schedule and is stopping by before going home.”
Sam Pittman played a significant factor in Braun’s decision to choose Georgia, so this one is interesting. Florida was in hot pursuit in the past, with Hevesy even attending one of his tennis matches.
We were texting and there aren’t many details right now, but it’s definitely worth noting that Florida will pay him a visit.
** MONDAY PM UPDATE:
I'm hearing this visit went very well.
Like I initially noted, keep an eye on this one. His father didn't want to comment any further due to their respect of Kirby Smart and UGA, but he did send me a thumbs up when I asked how the visit went.
We will continue to stay on top of it, but I'm hearing the visit with Hevesy definitely went good after speaking with some close to the situation.
