Hopefully, Mullen won't repeat those kind of bone-headed calls next year.

This year's Florida team was just not a complete, enough team. Florida still needs to recruit the necessary depth to be a true, national title contender.

Had Florida been in position to make the CFP's, it would have been an uphill battle for this team. With a weak, run blocking offensive line, UF could not run the ball effectively in many short-yardage situations.

However despite the deficiencies, Florida overachieved this season behind Kyle Trask's stellar play.

Should have run 6'5 240lbs Trask for a QB sneak for a half yard on 4th dpwn in red zone vs LSU in 4th quarter down 7....instead called cute corner endzone fade for interception.....really could have pulled that game off.....

Our defense would have had more stops if our 2 starting defensive ends played vs LSU. Those were our two best defenders. Our backers and secondary are average.

Great showing by the Gators...we can all be critical about certain things 40-17 win is a strong showing. This is the type of win I hoped for
