Not sure what Sully is doing with the pitching staff today. Did we lose a starter?
Started Rhodes, then Alexander, Hanhold, and in a key situation, brings in Snead who hasn't pitched in weeks.
Turned a 4-2 Gator lead into a 5-4 Bama lead with them still batting in the 7th. Now brings in another pitcher who hasn't pitched in weeks (Vincent)...just hit his first batter, bases loaded and another pitcher coming in.
Not helping that everything Bama hits finds a hole, including at least 3 Baltimore choppers over third base.
Logan Browning in now, still the 7th, Bama leading 6-4. Browning walks in a run with four straight balls, 7-4 Tide still batting. Starting to remind me of a Little League game.
Two run, two strike single, 9-4 Tide still batting.
I think Sully tried to steal one today and it blew up on him.
Oh well, at least he got all the bad pitchers out of the series. Actually, the best was Rhodes, but Sully pulled him after a leadoff double in the 4th with Gators up 2-0. Strange.
Team does not have a lot of fire today.
