I have a good friend from high school in suburban New York, who went to Yale for drama and is currently an actor (Broadway TV movies) but what he tells me is that the lions share of his income comes from narrating audiobooks.

He is not a sports fan in the least, and doesn't know anything about sports which is actually a topic that we joke about. He tells me that the one time that he does sound like he knows what he's talking about with Sports was from a little book that he is sure I never heard of that he narrated called Bracketology by a guy named Joe Lunardi. He said if you listen to that book it actually sounds like I know what I'm talking about. I laughed long and hard about his naïveté and explained to him that even the most casual college basketball fan is completely familiar with Joe Lunardi and Bracketology and there might even be about a week in early to mid March every year that he is perhaps the most famous person in college basketball, just prior to the tournament.

He was in complete disbelief that the little book that he did was so famous among sports fans. He was impressed, but I guarantee you he still pays no attention to the tournament unless Yale gets a bid, and even then it's pretty minimal bordering on nonexistent, and that’s only after I call him and congratulate him on getting a bid …
