Ask anyone in America under the age of 30 who were Edmund Burke, Cicero, and Thomas Paine?

Now ask anyone in America under the age of 30 who were Mao Sa Tung, Valdimir Lenin, and Karl Marx?

Then sit back and marvel and realize what our public education system is teaching Americans.

For those under 30, the first three were some of the key philosophers upon whom our Republic is based and a famous patriot. The other 3 are the philosophers upon whom Communism and Socialism is based. Why do Americans now know more about the hero's of the Chinese and Russians then the hero's of the American Experiment?

They asked Benjamin Franklin, ‘What do we have, a republic or a monarchy?’ Franklin replied, ‘A republic, if you can keep it.’

Spot on. We pulled our kids out of public education years ago. We can no longer count on a government run education to teach our kids truth. Again, this is a monumental failure on our part, and it has given us what we have today.

I'm so glad my kids are out of school, and that they grew up in Texas. In a solid red school district.
