They looked so good against Bama. Same intensity wasn’t there. Maybe it’s the time off? Kinda think Bama’s O is overrated because Hurts can’t pass but still. NC St. was moving their defense back.

You got to have an elite D line to keep Bama in check some. That line they have and the rest lets them get away with Hurts not having good passing games. FSU had a bad day on defense today but is still pretty good.

They still have Louisville and Clemson, which seem like rather sure losses at this point.

Not to mention Florida and Miami. Seems unlikely they escape with less than 5 losses before bowl season.

Nightmare scenario would be losing to Louisville, Clemson, at least one of UF/UM and then dropping to another conference team like Duke.

Any way you look at it, there’s a real chance they go 5-6.

We’ll see if they can rebound but it has all the markings of snowballing. Hard to control the emotions and egos of a team filled with highly rated recruits that are now 0-2, with games against UL, CU, UF and UM left.

Well, I guess we could lose to wake next week and then to Miami the week after and start 0-4. Of course Miami is currently losing to Toledo.

Defense lost the game today. Couldn't get stops on 3rd and long. Just like last year against UNC.

QB was fine for the most part and will only get better.

Being a NC State fan must be frustrating. They'll beat FSU, should have beat Clemson last year, lose to South Carolina and other trash and go to the Belk bowl for the 10th year in a row.

Yea, this is what i was afraid of. I think we lose 5 games. Gunna be a rough season. We lost the one guy we couldnt lose.

Our defense was today what Charles Kelly always is, we let the same play beat us over and over again. I think the NC state OC is called a hell of a game. Im getting ready for that 1 and 3 start baby!!! lol Its funny, but its not that funny. I could only sit there and laugh

We had 3 plays where guys where running wide open with no one around for 25 yds, 1 play our Freshman Qb shit his pants and thru the ball 10 yds to shallow, 1 play, our left guard decided to throw a look out block, then the last play the freshy never even looked the guys way. I dont put this loss on Fisher at all, i felt bad for him, he called and schemed a great game, we just didnt execute, NC state did. Game over

NC state has a great d line, probably 3 NFL players, however, our oline are similar to turnstiles. They are the most inconsistent bunch i have ever seen. We also have flinchy(my new nickname for our left tackle), so that should be fun to watch the rest of the year

This may sound weird, but i root for UF when they are not playing us. I want you guys to be undefeated every yr when we play you. Makes the game more fun, i would rather any FLorida team be good then some other team win. If FSU doesnt win the championship, i would rather MIami or UF win it than other teams. I know that goes against everything everyone has ever said about "rivals" but idgaf, you guys know me by now that i am weird enough to have those thoughts and believe them. I would think he called a poor game. Passing the ball 44 times with a true freshmen QB in his first start? Only called like 22 running plays. Doesn't seem like a very good idea to me.

This is looking at face value stats. I was at the game. We had guys running wide open and couldnt block them on run plays. Our QB was ok but missed routine throws, also hit some nice ones. They were stacking the box. He called a great game, took advantage of their bad players, we just didnt execute. The final result and stats are not all that matters to me. We had 3 tds that if our qb took his time, we hit and score easily.
