I wouldn't mind having Milton at UF but IMO, Emory Jones is the starter for next season.

FSU doesn't have the same resources as Clemson. Jimbo could see that the college football landscape was changing and FSU needed to keep up. They refused because they don't understand that football has changed. Its not like the Bowden days when you could be cheap and still win. If you would just have given Jimbo what he needed FSU would be Clemson instead now your Duke.

Listen as a fan I would love it if everytime Florida played FSU and Miami everybody was ranked in the top 5 but those days are gone forever. Miami is exactly where they were 15 years ago and FSU is heading down that same path. Their administration has failed you and there is deep dive by espn detailing all their failures. They just don't have the money to keep up. Otherwise they would look just like Clemson.

FWIW Milton didn’t really have a lot of suitors/colleges coming after him. Lots of concerns still with his injury and the fact that the QB that took his spot has done just as good so was it the system and poor competition. I hope he had recovered from that injury though. That was awful.

Ugh. What a total 180 that would be. Go from honoring a group of warriors that bravely stood for their own independence to honoring scumbag thieves. Can I argue it would be more racist to strip us of our name honoring a brave minority demographic only to name them after a majority white male group that spent decades oppressing the former?

Word is he is not 100%. We do have the video of him. Playing scout team last yr and apparently that was good enough. At worst he is a 24 yr extended coach.... At best, hes a heisman winning 2 time National champ
