So to review:
In April of 2020, Pres Trump says the best thing we can do to beat covid is burn these masks and go outside. Sunlight is a natural disinfectant!
Media and Fauci says he's a fool, say we may need to stay in our basements for the next 5 years.
In March of 2021, Texas decides to follow Pres Trump's advice from a year earlier.
It works, Pres Trump was right. Fauci can't explain.

In April of 2020 we probably needed some control on certain aspects of life, if for no other reason than the ICU were getting hit pretty hard in some major cities and it seemed the logical thing to do.
But once the triage of that was no longer needed, and we now have a ton of anecdotal evidence that lockdowns actually make the situation worse, any elected (or unelected) official still lobbying for them is showing their ass as flat out totalitarian thugs.
The debate is over. It's time to go back to life. If you're old, sick or worried about Covid put emerging tech in your arm and GTFO of my face about it. If I get Covid and die, that's on me.
