After reading thru internet, I have come to a couple of conclusions:
1) Billy let Jeremy know last April he was seriously ready to scratch his NBA itch but it would only be at a perfect situation...like OKC;
2) Jeremy began vetting young HC's from afar and settled on White and back channeled him that the Gator job would probably come open in the next couple of years and he took the hint and turned down Tennessee and Missouri to wait on UF;
3) The GM @ OKC has been setting up the Billy hire for over a year by hiring 2 Donovan staffers to make Billy's transition pretty easy and Billy and Jeremy knew it.
