Florida Gators infielder signee Kellon Lindsey has been selected in the 1st round of the 2024 MLB Draft. The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Kellon Lindsey on Sunday with the Los Angeles Dodgers with the 23rd overall pick of the 2024 MLB Draft.





Kellon Lindsey is a 6’2” 175-pound shortstop prospect out of Hardee Senior High School in Wauchula, Florida. On Perfect Game, Lindsey is the 31st-ranked prospect and the eighth-ranked shortstop in the country. He’s also the fifth-ranked prospect and second-ranked shortstop in Florida.





Kellon Lindsey was the top high school prospect Florida landed in their 2024 recruiting class. He is also the first signee who was selected in the 2024 MLB Draft. Lindsey was also the only Perfect Game All-American committed to Florida.





During his senior season, Lindsey slashed .403/.567/.597 with 27 hits, six doubles, two triples, one home run, 15 RBIs, 25 walks, and a 1.164 OPS. On MLB Pipeline, Lindsey is the 29th-ranked draft prospect.





The slot value for the 23rd overall pick is $3,676,400.
