Football Fire Him NOW!!

Hell no. Took a top 10 team to OT. Defense just played the best game since he's been the HC. Starting RB and QB got hurt.

Did we blow some opportunities hell yeah. But who expected us to take this game to OT much less win.
You cannot be serious

The problem with you Billy apologists is you've gotten comfortable with being such major underdogs that a close loss like this feels like a win. We owned tenn for decades, Billy is the only reason we were big underdogs to begin with. Billy holds us back, why can't you guys not see that? The team playing hard in spite of their coach isn't a sign that he deserves more time.
And to think you all want LAME Kiffin to step and do what? Stroke you’ll ego with his empty brash talk? He hasn’t did or won anything as a HBC at any of his stops. All he does is sell wolf tickets that hype the fanbase. If not Lame Kiffins, who else is on your wish list? I’m listening….

Didn’t he win the C-USA with FAU? If that doesn’t count then I guess Billy’s sun belt doesn’t either.

Really, C-USA 😂😂😂😂. That’s the solution, keep chugging whatever you’re sipping…

Now do the last three years.
He won't. Defeats his narrative. Napier sucks and no amount of trying to bring down other coaches will elevate him to a decent HC. He's not. Lane is also at Ole Miss, which is a few steps below UF as a program but they won't let that little fact get in the way of their nonsense.

Does Billy understand that the field is 100 yards long and 50 yards wide? He plays the game in a small box. I understand the protection issues but, you can’t run 12 personnel trap or dive plays to a run blitzing 8 in the box defense on second and long. I understand trying to make 3rd down more manageable but, the defense dictates what you can do. Maddening to watch

If you do it, you do it on a bye week. We play Kentucky next week and they are terrible. We lose, you fire him then because you have 2 weeks before Georgia

and yet Montrell had 85 yards rushing before getting injured against a team defense averaging just 67 yards a game rushing

Exactly right but, what happened? UT adjusted and countered and we didn’t adjust to that. When they saw that Napier was only going to allow Lagway to play on a postage stamp size field, they adjusted. I guarantee they knew exactly what we were running on second and long. You could see it. He generally has no feel for the flow of the game and the ability to adjust. I know most are not Coach Spurrier that can draw up ball plays in the dirt in the 4thQ but, he generally cannot do the basics of a plan B, when plan A stalls out. Maybe max protect and take a shot down field or run a TE down the seam. I was at the game, they were playing one safety deep for most of the 4thQ. Even if it’s incomplete, it might loosen things up a bit. Our OLine is not good enough to create running lanes against th e D they were throwing at us in the 4thQ. If he woukd have hired an SEC caliber OC after year one, he might not be fighting for his job.

Our game plan plan was sound, I give Billy credit for that and the players played their hearts out, but at the same time Billy lost this game the same way he has lost others. He is a horrible in game decision maker. Much like he does with the QB rotation, everything he does has to be planned and if he has to change that plan, he is lost.

But he run the sneak earlier in the game and converted on 3rd down.

He ran the ball in OT to try and get into better range for the FG.

Do you guys know anything about the game. Do you really think we had good odds of getting 25yrds right there?
And that's the problem I have with him, after the first down play where Lagway threw into double coverage - that was wide open if he'd thrown the ball a second sooner - all Napier did was play for the field goal.

He didn't try for the touchdown after the first play went incomplete, he played for the friggin' field goal.
I'd rather he had gone for broke and tried a couple more passes BEYOND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE than do a silly half assed attempt to run up the middle for FG positioning.

Billy Napier coaches scared and will never change his stripes - beyond time for him to be driving the up ramp onto I-75.

Billy doesn’t adjust well or hardly at all. Just my take.

Exactly... folks simply ignore everything he did as an OC, the talent he acquired at USC pre-sanctions, his recruiting the 1 year at Tenn, what he did at FAU.

People keep hollering he hasn't done anything significant at Ole Miss. Neither did anyone outside of the HCs at UGa, LSU, Bama and AU, considering the standard folks are holding this next coaching hire.

But then folks throw out the Cignettis and Kliemans...

The next coach needs to 1. Fit the UF "culture" i.e. offense offense offense, 2. Keep Florida kids at UF as much as possible 2. Hire the best DC available. 3. Recruit, recruit, recruit.

His deer in headlights when he didn’t understand the runoff is embarrassing. Let Albert call this offense!
Hey Hunter, you're right we had absolutely no business losing this game. Our defense played well enough for us to win and I really wish we had gone for two at the end of the game. I would've been OK win or lose., they had the momentum for the most part and you don't tempt fate by going to overtime in a hostile environment on purpose.

I take it by the fact that you are posting, that you are done for the year. Who do you like in the NLCS and ALCS? Long time Mets fan here, hoping we can keep the magic rolling ...
